 My big baby got me a new wedding band....I was slightly happy! There truly is no one like this man!!!  He loves me so well....not because of a nice ring, but because he is the "real deal" through and through.  I had been thinking (only to myself) that it would be so fun if Chris thought on his own to get me a wedding band after Joy was born.  We were married 11yrs. ago at 21 and never got one.  I'm actually not a big jewelry girl and typically never ask for it on any occasion.  Chris woke up the morning after Joy was born, and as he was spending time with the Lord he heard Him say to go get me a ring.  Chris has never even thought of it til that moment.  He said to specifically get her a wedding band and to not think twice about its cost.  God said he would provide and that Chris needed to leave the hospital right then and go get it.  I was really blown away, not just by the gift, but the whole picture of God caring about the little things.  This gift may not seem "spiritual" as we so often think of as "gifts" from God--BUT it was in that God loves to give good gifts to His kids, even pretty rings.  The Lord knew I secretly wanted that ring, He was kind enough to tell Chris, and God knew that Chris would listen and respond.  Walking with and loving Jesus...there is nothing better.

Sweet Naters is always holding his sis Joy....he's such a love bug.

 Brooks crawled right up wanting to cuddle....and he still crawls up right next to Joy and I everyday since to cuddle.

Joy is truly a seriously blessed sister to have the MOST amazing, gentle and loving big bro's!

My little man Brooks just LOVES LIFE!  He makes everything fun, loves to laugh, loves Bennett dance parties, loves his animals, loves his Pops, loves the merry-go-round, loves Mr. Elephant, loves loves his new baby sister, loves reading books, loves to take at least 2 baths a day, loves wearing moms flip flops all around, love his own animal noises, loves his flinstone vitamins (never understands why he can only have one) and loves singing "Jesus loves me" and "In the jungle" 

Like I said, He truly loves life and will change any atmosphere with the love of Jesus all the days of his life! You are loved Brooks.

Beau-man

Just have to say a few words about this amazing boy....that is that he is amazing!  There is no one like him.  Beau, you have a heart of gold, you are just, brave and righteous.  

Chris was telling me when they were having "guy time" he asked Beau what he had been thinking about lately.  Without missing a beat, he replied "well, I've been thinking about inventing a new color, it's called red lava.  Yes, we totally need a new color.  Also, I think I could build a robot, so I might do that someday."  

That sums up Beau, he is a creative genius!

Mother's Day muffins at Mckinley

 I always loved going to Nate's pre-K class, he is so fun to watch!  He brings such peace to any atmosphere and is so loved by his peers. Nate served me muffins and juice and wrote me an adorable poem about how he sees his mom.  It was so cute!

 Naters loves Miss Queenie!  The first parent teacher conference I went to she told me the teachers called Nate the EMT of the class. She went on to share about how Nate is the first one to let them know is someone is hurt or upset.  He waits around the "wounded" until all is well, will sometimes pray for them and then goes on his way.  I loved hearing about my mighty man of God....what she described is what we call a true pastors heart.
